In 1969, two school teachers, Jim Letellier and Jim Koenig, opened Letko as just a part time hobby.   Soon they turned their part-time hobby, into a thriving business; by providing service with the idea, that anyone who walked through the door was not just a customer, but a friend.   Their long hours of dedication to the business and the customers, has lead to their success, which is measured by the multitudes of loyal, committed customers and their wide spread dealings with stores throughout the Midwest, as well as, different parts of the country.

        Passing the Letko torch to his son, Leigh Letellier is now the General Manager.   Jim and Leigh now work hand in hand, to assure that everyone that steps through the doors receives the best customer service possible.   Both Koenig and Letellier still work at the shop on a daily basis.   Leigh’s commitment is formed from the legacy of the “Jim’s."   It has been his dream, since   he grew up in the shop, to one day be in charge of its success.

        Recently, Letko moved to a new location at 8166 Monticello Terrace in Shawnee.   Moving from   the old location was tough, but much needed.   Now Letko has a spacious new showroom   to display all our   beautiful motorcycles.   Letko serves the Kansas City metro area for all   Ducati, KTM and MV Agusta needs; from sales, parts & accesssories, service and the best customer service around.   Customers receive a service beyond the selling of a motorcycle, parts or accessories; they become apart of motorcycle history and apart of the Letko family.
